You are invited to a special in-person screening of Andor, Disney+’s newest series in the Star Wars universe. Get a thrilling big screen look at the series, which debuts today on the streaming service. You’ll enjoy the first three episodes, and a post-screening conversation with Dr. Vince Houghton, Director of the National Cryptologic Museum and former SPY Historian. Houghton is an expert on spying in the Star Wars galaxy, and he’ll discuss how tradecraft and intelligence figure in the new show.
The Andor series explores a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It is an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
Select artifacts from the Museum’s collection that relate to resistance, Andor, and young spies will be on display prior to the screening. You are welcome to wear your Andor-era apparel.
