Girl Scout Badge Workshops

Cost: $200/workshop for up to 15 Girl Scouts, additional Girl Scouts are $15 per person, chaperones are free (Please note that the actual Badge and Museum admission are not included in the workshop price)

When: Monday-Thursday at 4:00 PM ET. If you are interested in booking a program prior to 4:00 PM ET, please email educators@spymuseum.org. The following weekend dates are available in winter/spring 2025: January 11, February 2, March 8, and April 6. On these dates, workshops are available at 10:00 AM and 12:00, 2:00, and 4:00 PM ET.

Length: 45 minutes

Participants: 20 Girl Scout maximum (not including at least one adult chaperone)

OPERATION CODE CRACKER

Detective Badge Workshop
Girl Scout Level: Junior

There’s a mole in the operation. Junior Girl Scouts will identify the suspect, examine evidence, and uncover the facts to expose the mole’s true identity. After participating in this workshop, Juniors will have completed all requirements for the Detective Badge (badge NOT included).

FORENSICS OF ESPIONAGE

Special Agent Badge Workshop
Girl Scout Level: Cadette

Cadettes become forensic scientists and use real FBI forensic techniques to examine evidence, make recommendations, and use the scientific method to attempt to determine the identity of a double agent. After participating in this workshop, Cadettes will have completed all requirements for the Special Agent Badge (badge NOT included).

NEW! SISTERHOOD OF SPIES

Power of One Award (Agent of Change Journey)
Girl Scout Level: Junior

Can you name your favorite female spy? In this workshop, Junior Girl Scouts will learn about famous female spies throughout history, test their spy skills, and make connections to the Girl Scout Law and their own life experiences. After completing this workshop, Juniors will have completed Power of One, one of the three awards that make up the Agent of Change Journey (award NOT included).
