From the Secret History of History to the Science of Spying, the Museum offers educator professional development workshops that provide new and interesting content on topics including but not limited to:

- What is spying, how does it work, and why do we do it?
- What do students in the 21st Century need to know about spying?
- The Cold War
- The Cuban Missile Crisis
- The role of spying and intelligence in the Civil War
- The Secret History of History – a 2,000 year history of spying.
- The Spy’s Eye View: Meet a real spy
- Spy Tech: What is the science behind spying?
- The role of communication in spying (addressing ELA curriculum)
In addition to a variety of topics, workshops provide innovative resources and teaching methodologies that provide educators with practical, hands-on tools to integrate the content into classroom curriculum.
Educator Workshops
- Range from 2 hours to a full day.
- Can take place virtually, at SPY, or at your facility.
- Can include breakfast, lunch and/or just a basic coffee break.
- Include access to the Museum’s main exhibition.
- Are conducted in a private classroom space.
- Provide a packet of lesson plans, publications, and resources to bring back to the classroom.
- Are flexible and customizable both in content and length.
