The United States will host a NATO summit in Washington, DC from July 9-11 commemorating the alliance’s 75th anniversary. The closed conference attracts heads of state from NATO countries. Topics are expected to include Ukraine, cyber and space as well as conventional warfare. This is an extremely pivotal time for the western alliance as Russia continues its invasion in Ukraine and the world is facing many momentous elections amidst rapid technological change.
The International Spy Museum and the One Decision Podcast are joining forces for an exclusive evening with former Secretary of Defense and CIA Director Leon Panetta and a panel of experts and global leaders including Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs. Christina Ruffini, former CBS News correspondent, and Spy Museum Historian and Curator Dr. Andrew Hammond, will moderate this discussion of NATO in an era of significant transitions of power around the world while International Spy Museum Executive Director Chris Costa will provide opening and closing remarks informed by his own work with NATO.
The program will be followed by a rooftop reception for guests and panelists.
